Craniosacral therapy

What is Craniosacral therapy?

An osteopathic craniosacral treatment is a soft treatment method used to improve health, harmony and wellbeing. The treatment can be used for prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.

The treatment mainly affects five major areas: the central nervous system, the spinal fluid, the membranes of the brain and spine, the joint structures of the skull and the movement of the sacrum in relation to the hips. During the treatment, various deviations that may occur in the movement patterns of the tissues are recorded and assisted as far as possible for the body to return to its original movements. During this process, blood flow increases locally and the body gets the opportunity for a neurological, lymphatic and biochemical process.

When the tissue functions based on its original movements, the best possible conditions are created for the body to heal itself.
